About Dr. Daniel's Nerve Rescue
I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2017, and I've been providing physical therapy services for the past 9 years now. As a licensed provider in Columbus, OH, I am certified in Integrative Dry Needling, Blood Flow Restriction Therapy, Functional Movement Screening, and more. I am also keenly aware of what it's like to some form of physical pain and disability having firsthand experience the challenges of receiving medical care that addresses all the ways physical functioning plays a role in our daily life.
During the week, I primarily work in the Victoria Secret Corporate and Distribution Center located in Reynoldsburg, OH. In this role, I provide physical therapy exclusively to Victoria Secret associates.
Starting in 2026, I wanted to expand my physical therapy offerings in the Columbus community, starting with appointments only on Friday and Saturdays. To do this with minimal overhead, my spouse and I adapted our lower level to be a welcoming clinic space conducive for my therapeutic offering. The space is simple and contains the essentials for physical therapy, but no more. My treatment approach in this setting focuses primarily on hands-on treatments with a polish of therapeutic exercise to finish our sessions.
The treatment I most commonly incorporate is called integrative dry needling. It's a well-researched approach to address not only myofascial pain, but also provides a much-needed reset for an overloaded nervous system. During this treatment, I may also incorporate breathing and body awareness practices to facilitate deep healing and release. While at first this may seem counterintuitive, my treatment is very much an active and communicative process. I'm taking inventory of all the ways your body holds tension and will speak to the areas where attention is needed. At times, you may feel a lot of sensation, and I will do my best to titrate the amount of sensation experienced so that you can better relax and benefit from the treatment.
Initially, it is relatively common to have some soreness for a few hours post-treatment. The best way I can describe it is the type of soreness you might get from doing a physical workout. You likely will have significantly less pain, but your body is still healing and the soreness goes hand in hand with the jump start to your body's healing processes. This will lessen in intensity and frequency as you get used to the treatment, similar to how you get less sore with working out the more you do it.
If you have any questions, I am happy to answer them. Please see my contact info below.
I look forward to working with you,

The Space
The clinic is located on the finished lower level of our residential home in central Columbus, OH. There is free on street parking on Glen Echo Drive. There are approximately 20 steps to get up to the home as the street is part of the Glen Echo Ravine. After the steps, turn right at the sidewalk and go through the gate to the north side door entrance. If you are limited in your ability to perform steps, you can also access the clinic by parking on Arcadia Ave and entering from the alley. You will then proceed along the sidewalk until you reach the same door.
There will be a sign on the door indicating whether I'm currently working with someone or available. If I'm currently busy, you can take a seat in the chair next to the door. If I'm available, come right in and proceed down the stairs on your left to the clinic space.
My space is relatively simple but has everything necessary for our work together. We will work together primarily using a massage table, yoga mat, and bands/weights/stall bars. You may occasionally hear ambient noise from my wife and son on the floors above, but we do our best to create a calming and restorative space. The space is temperature controlled and has HEPA air-filtration.
